What to Bring to Summer Camp

  • Completed and signed Scouts BSA medical form

  • Medications, with direction, in original containers

  • Face mask (one per day, with extras)

  • Water bottle

  • Duffle bag or pack

  • Swimsuit (pack on top)

  • Towels (pack on top)

  • Class A uniform (tan shirt with patches; Scout shorts, belt and socks)

  • Hiking shoes/boots

  • Rain jacket/poncho

  • Sweatshirt/light jacket

  • Sunscreen

  • Shower shoes/sandals

  • Camp/Scout T-shirts

  • Underwear

  • Socks (6+ pair)

  • Washcloth


  • Soap and shampoo

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste

  • Hairbrush or comb

  • Flashlight and batteries

  • Insect repellent (non-aerosol)

  • Pocketknife

  • Personal first aid kit

  • Sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket

  • Pillow

  • Pajamas/Sleep wear

  • Camp chair (required by camp)

  • Merit badge pamphlets or prerequisite work

  • Writing materials

  • Firearms or ammunition

  • Fireworks

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Electronic devices (such as iPads, iPhones or Nintendo Switch)

  • Items of value

  • Extra food that might attract animals
